February 23-26, 2017
The photos in this exhibition provide a view on the author’s photographic archive and on the two main parts that compose it: live music photography and portraiture.
In this exhibition, photo printing is intentionally given great importance; printing, which is often disregarded in these days, is an per se and the true end of the creative photographic process. Only on paper the pictures take their material form, they take a consistency that even be appreciated visually. For this reason, the author choose carefully different papers for different images; he uses papers that provide the ability to obtain final results that are as close as possible to what he saw with is mind’s eyes.
All prints of this exhibition have personally been made by the author, either digitally, by using an inkjet printer, or on silver gelatin paper.
